Cambodia's rubber exports in the first seven months increased by 1.72% year-on-year.
According to the latest report from the General Administration of Rubber of Cambodia, Cambodia exported 173,915 tons of rubber in the first seven months of 2024, an increase of 1.72% from 170,968 tons in the same period last year.
The report said that the country earned $269 million from rubber exports in the first seven months, an increase of 12.4% from $239.3 million in the same period last year; the average cost of export was $1,547/ton, about $147 higher than the same period last year.
As of now, Cambodia has a total of 407,172 hectares of rubber plantations, of which 320,184 hectares or 78.6% are harvestable.
